Privacy Policy for 10K Personas (Chrome Extension)

This Chrome extension enables our users to interact with AI target personas, for the purposes of feature and needs discovery. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains what information we collect through the extension and how we use, store, and protect it.

1. Information We Collect

When you use 10K Personas, we collect the following types of data:

  • Personal Information (PII):

    • Name, email address, and profile picture—collected when you register.

  • Usage Data:

    • How you use the extension (e.g., clicks, session length, features used.)

    • We do not log or store anything you type into the AI chat or any AI responses.

  • Persona Data:

    • We store the information you provide when creating personas or AI assistants, both in our cloud provider database and locally on your computer.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the extension’s core features

  • Understand your account’s usage for cost tracking

  • Improve and personalize your experience

  • Analyze usage trends across our user base

3. Who We Share Information With

To deliver AI responses and operate the extension, we securely send data to the following providers:

  • Amazon Web Services

  • OpenAI

  • Anthropic

While your data is stored with these vendors for a period of 30 days, they do not read or publish your chats and do not use your data to train their models. All data is stored encrypted using state-of-the-art practices.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Data Security

We take your security seriously. Here’s what we do to protect your data:

  • All data is encrypted in transit.

  • Access is restricted and protected using industry best practices.

  • User personally identifiable information is transmitted and stored using encryption.

  • No third-party vendors are used for app maintenance outside of our cloud and AI providers.

5. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can request to delete your account—and all associated data—by emailing privacy.bb@threepiers.net or contacting your Sales representative.

  • At this time, there’s no way to opt out of data collection or remove your data without deleting your account.

  • We comply with:

    • CCPA: For California residents and all users, we do not sell your data, ever.

    • GDPR & LGPD: For European Union users, currently data is transferred to and processed in the United States to provide app functionality.

6. Children’s Privacy

This extension is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone in that age group.

7. Policy Updates

If this Privacy Policy changes, we’ll notify users with valid email addresses via email and update the Chrome Web Store listing.
